Two recitals, a class party and a school-night band concert. That’s a normal December week for a lot of Lincoln families, and a Saturday on the ladder doesn’t fit anywhere in it. Our Lincoln Christmas light installation gives that Saturday back. Candy Cane Christmas Lights brings the lights, does the climbing, and gets the house glowing before you pull into the driveway after practice. Estimates are free at (916) 642-7382.
Two-Story Gables Off Highway 65
We’re based just down Highway 65 in Rocklin, so Lincoln is a quick drive for our crews. Most of the homes we light up here are newer, and plenty are two stories with tall front gables. That upper roofline is the exact spot most parents don’t want to deal with while the kids are riding scooters in the driveway below. It’s also the part that makes a house pop from the street.
The strands are ours, tested before they leave the shop. We bring them, clip everything in place, and set a timer so the house turns on at dusk and off at bedtime. Nobody has to remember to plug anything in on a Tuesday night.
Lincoln Christmas Light Installation, Twelve Bridges to Bickford Ranch
Twelve Bridges sits on the south edge of town, closest to us, and it’s full of winding streets and cul-de-sacs. A cul-de-sac house gets a lot of eyes, since every car in the circle faces right at you. We like to light both the roofline and the front walk there so the whole place reads from the turnaround.
Lincoln Crossing is a newer planned neighborhood, and most streets fall under an HOA. A lot of master-planned HOAs have guidelines about when holiday lights can go up and when they have to come down. We’ll work inside those dates, and the January takedown keeps you in good standing with the board.
Foskett Ranch is a settled family area with parks and schools nearby. The front-yard trees there are big enough now to count, which makes them great candidates for a trunk and branch wrap.
Up in Catta Verdera, the streets around the country club hold custom and semi-custom homes, many with Mediterranean styling and tile roofs. Tile needs a different clip than shingle (more on that below). Over in Sun City Lincoln Hills, we often hang lights for grandparents who want the house ready before the grandkids come for the holidays. And the older homes around downtown Lincoln have porches and railings that practically ask for garland.
We’re also lighting more homes out in Bickford Ranch, between Lincoln and Loomis, where a lot of the construction is brand new. New houses sometimes have fewer exterior outlets than you’d expect, so we plan out power before the first clip goes up.
What We Hang and How We Do It
Roofline lights. Eaves, gutters, peaks and gables. On composition shingle we use clips that slide under the shingle edge or hook onto the gutter. On tile, like many of the roofs in Catta Verdera, we use tile clips so nothing cracks. We never staple or nail into your fascia board.
Tree wraps. Trunks and branches, wrapped tight and even. Young trees on newer streets look great with a trunk wrap and a few main limbs. Mature trees can take more. We’ll tell you straight which trees are worth it and which aren’t.
Pillar and column wraps. A lot of Lincoln homes have porch columns. A clean spiral of lights around each one frames the front door and looks sharp in the family photo.
Stake lighting. Along the front path, the driveway, or the edge of the lawn. Before any stake goes in, we flag where the sprinkler heads are, so nobody’s surprised by a broken line in spring. Stakes also help little feet find the front door when it’s dark by five.
Lit wreaths and garland. Wreaths over the garage or on upstairs windows, and garland across entries, railings, archways and banisters. It’s a nice finish on a downtown porch or a big front entry.

Your December, Minus the Ladder
A season with us usually goes like this. You call, we talk through your house and what you’re picturing, and the quote costs nothing. We book the install on a day that works, and you don’t even need to be home if the outdoor outlets are easy to get to. The timer handles the daily routine after that.
If a strand goes dark partway through the season, call us and we’ll put a fresh one up. Kids notice when half the gutter goes out.
Come January, our crew returns and pulls every strand off the house. The roof is bare well before spring, and no light bins end up in the garage next to the bikes and soccer bags.
Close By All Season
Our trucks run between Rocklin, Lincoln and Roseville almost every day from November through takedown, and we’re in Loomis a lot too. That makes it easy to swing by if something needs a fix. We also do a handful of Lincoln storefronts and HOA entrances each year.
The best install dates go early, and the schedule fills quickly once Halloween’s over. Call (916) 642-7382 to cross this one off the list, or drop us a message on the contact page with your neighborhood and whether the roof is tile. Tile or not, (916) 642-7382 gets you a price while you’re still on the line.
