Our typical Antelope Christmas light installation happens on a weekday morning, while the kids are in class and you’re at work. You leave the side gate open, we do the climbing, and by pickup time the house is lit. Candy Cane Christmas Lights comes over from Rocklin, and we bring every strand, clip and timer. One call to (916) 642-7382 books it.

Antelope Christmas Light Installation on Your Schedule

December in Antelope is already full. Nobody’s got a spare Saturday to haul boxes out of the garage and test bulbs one at a time.

So we keep it simple. You call, tell us what you’d like, and get a free quote. We pick a date, show up, and put the lights on a timer. It switches the house on as it gets dark and off at the hour you choose, even on nights nobody’s home until eight.

Barrett Ranch, Northbrook and the Cul-de-Sacs

Barrett Ranch, up by Elverta Road and Don Julio Boulevard, has a mix of homes from the mid-2000s and newer builder sections. Lots of two-story fronts with garage peaks, which is exactly the kind of roofline that looks sharp in lights and is tricky to reach on your own.

Northbrook, on the northwest side near its neighborhood park, is a close-knit spot where neighbors notice when a house goes up early. The front-yard trees have had time to grow in, and a good trunk wrap turns one of them into a beacon at the end of the block. On the south end, Antelope Hills has established yards and roomy walkways that suit stake lights. Antelope Meadows is full of kids on bikes in the late afternoon, and the front-yard trees there have finally grown big enough that one wrapped trunk can hold its own next to the roofline. Around Firestone Park off Poker Lane, we usually pair the roofline with a lit front walk, and on a few streets the neighbors book the same week once one house goes up.

Cul-de-sacs are all over Antelope. When your house is at the end of one, every car pulling into the circle sees your roofline head-on, so we like to give those homes a full outline and lit stakes along the curve of the drive.

If your street is the cut-through to Antelope Community Park or the school drop-off line, a lot of cars pass your house every evening. A wrapped tree near the curb is the piece they’ll remember.

Details That Keep the Lights Working

This is what a typical install covers, and what we watch for.

Roofline lights. We follow the eaves and gutters and climb every peak and gable. Clips snap onto the gutter or tuck under shingles. On tile roofs we switch to tile clips. We never put nails or staples in your trim.

Tree wraps. Trunks get wrapped in snug, even rows, then we go out on the branches you want lit. Smaller ornamental trees wrap fast. Big shade trees need more lights and more ladder time, and the quote says so up front.

Pillar and column wraps. Front porch posts get a steady spiral that makes the entry stand out.

Stake lighting. Lining a walkway or driveway is easy to get wrong if you hit a sprinkler line. We mark the heads first, then set stakes in between.

Wreaths and garland. Lit wreaths on the garage or front door, lit garland on entries, railings, archways and banisters.

Power planning. Before install day we check which exterior plugs you have and what load each circuit can carry. That’s what keeps a breaker from tripping in the middle of a family movie night.

    Questions Antelope Parents Ask

Can you work while we’re out?

That’s how most of these go. If we can reach the outlets and the yard, the house is lit by the time you’re back from pickup.

What if a strand stops working?

Call and we’ll swap the bad strand. We’re driving through Antelope, Roseville and Citrus Heights all season, so it’s an easy stop.

    When does everything come down?

In January. Our crew returns, removes everything, and hauls it away. You’re not storing bins, and nothing stays up through the spring.

Does your HOA have holiday rules?

Some newer Antelope streets have HOA guidelines about lighting dates. Mention them when you call and we’ll plan the install and takedown around them.

    Do you light businesses?

Yes. Shops and church entries along Antelope Road and Walerga Road book the same way.

    Booking Your Antelope Install

Weekday slots in the first two weeks of December go first, since that’s when most families want the house lit. Phone (916) 642-7382 and you’ll know the price before the kids get home, or upload a picture of the house with your street name through the contact page. If it’s easier after the kids are in bed, leave a message at (916) 642-7382 and we’ll call back the next morning.
