Every December there’s one house on the way to practice at Rusch Park that the kids point at every single night. We can make yours that house, and nobody in your family touches a ladder. With our Citrus Heights Christmas light installation, the whole job comes off your plate: Candy Cane Christmas Lights drives down from Rocklin, hangs everything, and leaves you with a timer that does the rest. Ring (916) 642-7382 for a price before you hang up.
Start With the Trees
Citrus Heights has something a lot of newer suburbs don’t: big, mature trees. Oaks, sycamores and old shade trees line plenty of front yards on the north end of the city. A good trunk and branch wrap on one of those can do more for the front of the house than any amount of roofline.
We wrap tight and even, working up the trunk and out along the main limbs so the tree looks lit from the ground up. Big trees take a lot of lights, so we’ll talk through how far up to go and what fits your budget. You can read more about how we handle it on our tree wrapping page.
Big Yards, Townhomes and Two-Stories
Sunrise Ranch, up by the Roseville line, keeps our phone busy every November. The homes there are good-sized with established landscaping, and many have deeper front yards. That’s a great setup for stake lighting along the walk plus a wrapped tree or two.
Crosswoods, just off Auburn Boulevard, is a planned community of one and two-story townhomes tucked under towering oaks with a private park in the middle. It has an HOA, so we keep the design in line with community guidelines and stick to the timing they allow. Townhome lighting is often about the entry: a lit wreath, garland on the railing, and a clean roofline across the front.
Around Rusch Park the homes are older, the yards are settled, and the trees are big. Single-story ranch rooflines are low and long, which makes them easy to trace with a bright, even line of lights. Kids in the back seat will spot it from Antelope Road.
Stock Ranch is one of the newer pockets in town, built in the 2000s with tidier lots and more two-story homes. Those taller gables and peaks are the part most parents hand off. We also light homes over in Birdcage Heights near the Sunrise Mall side of town and in Park Oaks in the middle of the city.
What Our Citrus Heights Christmas Light Installation Includes
- Roofline lights traced along every eave and gutter, then up and over the peaks. Shingle roofs get clips under the shingle edge or on the gutter lip. Tile gets tile clips. We don’t nail, staple or screw into your house.
- Tree wraps on trunks and branches, sized to the tree.
- Pillar and column wraps for porch posts, which frame the front door nicely.
- Stake lighting to line the front path, the drive or the border of the grass. We look for sprinkler heads first and keep stakes clear of them.
- Lit wreaths hung above the garage, centered on the door, or on a second-floor window facing the road.
- Lit garland draped over the entry, wound down a railing or banister, or run around an archway.
Older homes sometimes have just one or two outdoor outlets, and some share a circuit with whatever’s plugged in inside the garage. We plan the load so nothing trips when the space heater and the lights run at the same time.
How the Season Works
You’ve got enough going on in December, so the process is short. Call for a free estimate, pick an install date, and we handle the ladders and the wiring. The timer turns the lights on around dusk and off whenever your house goes to bed, so no one has to remember.
If a section goes out mid-season, call and we’ll get it fixed. We’re driving through Citrus Heights constantly on our way between Rocklin, Roseville and Antelope, so a repair doesn’t take long to schedule.
After the holidays, our crew heads back in January and takes it all off the house. No bins in the garage, and nothing left on the gutter once school starts back up. Businesses along Sunrise and Auburn Boulevard (shops, offices, churches and restaurants) can book the same way.
To be the house on the way to practice this year, call (916) 642-7382, or type your street and a good time to call into our contact page. The first install dates go to the first callers. If your HOA sets lighting dates, bring them up on the call to (916) 642-7382 and we’ll book around them.
